Introducing the Send to someone feature!

"Send to someone" allows you to share photos with anyone in the world using our private and secure Photo Transfer App Cloud. We created this feature to provide the easiest and most secure way to share photos between people. Here is how it works:

1 You select the photos on your device that you want to share with one or more people

2 Then the upload process starts. Your photos will be uploaded to our secure, private and encrypted Photo Transfer App Cloud servers.

3 After the upload process completes we will give you a private link that you can share with anyone you want. That link will give them access to the photos you shared

4 Once they have received the link they will be able to download those photos using any web browser or directly to their device if they also use Photo Transfer App

Sharing photos, privacy and limitations

Shared photos remain available to be downloaded by people with the private link for 14 days. Then your photos are automatically deleted from our servers.

You can also choose to "delete after first download". This is great when you are sharing photos with one single person and you want the photos to be deleted as soon as they other person downloads them to their device.

Your photos are kept safe and encrypted while they are in our servers. ONLY people with the link will be able to download them, nobody else can see them or download them. After the 14 days sharing period is finished your photos are deleted from our servers (or even before if you choose the "delete after first download" setting) maximizing the privacy of your photos.

We DO NOT use, share, analyze or process your photos in ANY way. Your privacy is our highest concern.

Albums can bedownloaded up to 10 times. This feature is meant for personal use ONLY.

Currently only image files can be transferred. We will include video transfers soon!

Bandwidth and pricing

Every time you upload a photo we add the file size used by the photo to the bandwidth you have used.

Free users have 100MB to try this feature. Users with an annual subscription have 2 GB of bandwidth to send photos to anyone. Users with a "Week pass" have 400 MB to use for this feature.

If you run out of bandwidth we have packs of 2 GB, 4 GB and 10 GB that youn can buy inside of the app

This bandwdith ONLY applies to 'Send to someone' feature. Users with a valid subscription (and former PRO users) have UNLIMITED bandwidth for transfers within a Wi-Fi network (when you transfer between devices connected to the same wifi network). Bandwidth is also UNLIMITED to subscribed users (and former PRO users) for transfers to/from cloud providers using our plugins (Google Drive, Dropbox, Flickr)

Why using this feature instead of a cloud provider like Google Drive or Dropbox?

With the "Send to someone" feature of "Photo Transfer App" your photos are in the cloud ONLY for a short period of time while the other person downloads them instead of having them stored permanently.

If you choose the "Delete after first download" option your photos are deleted as soon as the other person downloads your photos - this automates the deletion process and maximizes your privacy

The person who receives the photos can use "Photo Transfer App" to download the photos directly to ther iPhone, iPad or Android device
